Webinar – Performance metrics for Product Stewardship

Australia’s landmark study of the benefits and effectiveness of product stewardship recently released a series of reports to further understanding of how product stewardship can deliver environmental, social and economic benefits and provide businesses and government with a pathway to transition to a circular economy.

These reports include important and timely evidence base for governments, businesses and the community on the importance of product stewardship being a major business-focused approach to design out waste and pollution, keep products and materials circulating in the economy, regenerate natural systems and decarbonise the economy.

This webinar, the third of a three-part series, will examine performance metrics for product stewardship, including:

  • Environmental, social, and economic performance data collection and reporting by over 100 product stewardship initiatives – best practice, gaps and opportunities.
  • Why, when and where data collection and reporting is important.
  • Approaches and learnings from individual schemes on ensuring meaningful measurement and transparent reporting of performance.
